About SudokuSudoku is the Japanese word combining "number" and "single". Its origins stem from an 18th-century game by a Swiss mathematician. His game was named "Latin Squares". This is a truly international game.
Classic Play & RulesIn Sudoku Daily, you use a 9x9 grid. Some of the grid squares already contain the answers. To complete the puzzle, fill in the empty squares of the grid with the digits 1 through 9.
The puzzle is solved when each row, each column, and each 3x3 square within the puzzle contain the digits 1 through 9 with each numeral appearing once.
Web InstructionsTo enter a number in a square, click the square and type your entry. You may type your entries and use keyboard arrow keys to navigate, or use the two Entries and Notes keyboards on the right side. Entries keyboard will enter the selected number in a cell. Notes keyboard will enter multiple numbers as you make your notations. Rows, columns and 3x3 square will be shaded when correctly completed.Mobile Instructions
